The oldest part of the Stone House is the Billiard Hall, originally built as a stand-alone structure in the style of a Greek temple. J. N. Stone bought the house in 1877 from the David Stanton family. The house is now owned by his great-grandson, Joseph B. Stone. At left is the Antebellum Music Room featuring the extraordinary fenestrated pocket doors. |
